ABOUT ME
The World’s a Stage
Dre Marquis is an American Actor hailing from the Southside of Chicago, IL. Dre has done extensive work in Theatre, Television, and Commericial work.
He recieved his B.A. in Theatre from Alabama State University. He received his M.F.A. in Acting from DePaul University.
Notable roles in Theatre include: Duke of Buckingham in King Richard III, John Nevels in Toruble in Mind, and Jesus Castillo in Augusta and Noble. such as He is also known for his roles Chicago PD (2016) , Chicago Fire (2017) and Netflix's Easy (2017). His motto is "Be a voice, not an echo. For that evokes change." He believes understanding the human experience can can bring each of us closer together individually and collectively.

What is HumbleStART?
It’s literally a movement! I believe Good Art begins with being Humble. Finding your niche. And staying the course no matter how difficult it may get. Art isn’t just painting, acting, or dancing. Art, defined by Oxford, is the application of human creative skill and imagination. So art can fall under any medium that one strives for greatness in. Good art also influences!! Influences those around you to be better than they were yesterday.
What is this movement?
Well youth are the movement! They are the next to take the seeds we plant now and use those seeds to lay the foundation for future change. Therefore, HumbleStART, founded in Chicago, IL, takes 100% of proceeds from #HumbleStART merchandise and gives those “seeds” to Chicago Public Schools for students to have scholarship money for college upon graduation to help pay for books, food, and other expenses. It’s a humbling experience both for the students to know that individuals believe in their goals for their future and for us to know that they will continue to reach further than those expectations set by society. Our number one priority is to inspire and uplift the underprivileged communities and to create a unified front for education.
